As part of your chapter benefits you will get the opportunity to join the Global AI Community MeetUp community.

This benefit is not automatic and must be requested and approved by Global AI HQ.

Eligibility Requirements

Before requesting Meetup sponsorship, your chapter must meet all of the following conditions:

• Your Global AI chapter is officially created and approved
• You have completed the New Chapter Onboarding Call
• You have hosted at least 1 in-person meetup within the first 3 months
• You are an active member in the Global AI Discord
  (especially the #new-chapter-lead channel)
• Your chapter LinkedIn Showcase Page is live and active
• Your chapter follows Global AI branding and naming guidelines

Meetup Naming & Branding

To avoid common issues and ensure consistency across all chapters, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Meetup Group Name

• Must be exactly: Global AI CityName
• No variations, emojis, or extra words

Meetup Account

• Must be created using your @globalai.community email
• Account name must clearly represent the chapter or organizer

Branding

• Only Global AI approved logos and banners are allowed
• Custom, unbranded, or outdated graphics are not permitted
• Branding must be downloaded from your Chapter Space on the Global AI website and Branding Guidelines

How to Request Meetup Sponsorship

All Meetup sponsorship requests must be sent to: support@globalai.community using your chapter's official @globalai.community email address.

Your email must include:

• Link to your LinkedIn Showcase Page
• Confirmation of at least 1 completed in-person event
• Meetup option you are requesting:
  • New Meetup group
  • Connect Existing Meetup group

Ongoing Expectations

Meetup sponsorship is maintained only if:

• Chapters continue hosting Global AI events
• Branding and naming remain compliant
• The chapter stays active on Discord
• LinkedIn page remains updated
• Events are aligned with Global AI values and goals
• Chapter must organise atleast 1 in-person event every 3 months

Global AI HQ reserves the right to review or revoke sponsorship if expectations are not met.
