Global AI Community: February 2026 Update & New Resources

February has been a month of incredible momentum for the Global AI Community. We are continuing our 2026 roadmap with significant updates to our event infrastructure, the launch of a new governance model, and major enhancements to our digital tools.

1. AgentCon & AgentCamp Success

The year is off to an explosive start with events already spanning the globe.

• Early Momentum: We have already successfully hosted five AgentCon events in Vienna, Istanbul, Oslo, Stockholm, and Zurich.
• Upcoming Schedule: There are at least 15 more AgentCons scheduled globally, including an upcoming event in Bangkok.
• Speaker Opportunities: Call for Speakers is currently open for several regions; you can apply directly at agentcon.city.
• AgentCamp Reach: AgentCamp is now active in 63 locations across 24 countries.
• New Resources: We have released a brand-new, 15-minute keynote video for AgentCamp.

2. Community Governance & Advisory Board

We are introducing new ways to lead and support our global chapters.

• Advisory Board Launch: We are in the early stages of launching the Global AI Advisory Board to help guide the community's future.
• Selection Process: The inaugural board will consist of five members selected by the Global AI team, with a voting system to be implemented for future tenures.
• Call for Suggestions: If you know a community leader who would be a good fit, please share their LinkedIn profile in the #ideas-and-suggestions channel on Discord.
• Meetup Support: We are improving our meetup sponsorship guidelines and will be reaching out to inactive chapters to offer help and resources to restart local activities.

3. Platform Enhancements & Tools

We are building a more integrated experience for chapter leads and attendees.

• Integrated Registration: You can now manage event registrations directly on the Global AI platform, including setting attendee limits.
• Direct Communication: Organizers can now send email updates to their attendees directly through the Global AI mail server to ensure higher deliverability.
• Platform Revamp: Work is underway on a new platform featuring public profiles where members can showcase the events they have organized, attended, and the badges they have earned.

4. Discord & Documentation

Our community hub is growing rapidly as we finalize our move away from older platforms.

• Member Milestone: The Global AI Discord has officially surpassed 500 members. Join Now.
• Localized Channels: We are creating dedicated country-specific channels (e.g., India, South Korea, Thailand) to help leads engage with their local members.
• Meeting Archives: A dedicated recap page is now live where you can find all past meeting recordings and summaries.
