Register

To register your event as part of Microsoft Build //LOCALHOST follow the guidance below.

Step 1 - Login

• Login with an existing account, or create a new account on globalai.community
• Navigate to: https://globalai.community/my/add-event

Are you an official Chapter?

Please login with your chapter email address or an account that is linked to your chapter.

Step 2 - What are you organizing

• Select the agenda: Microsoft Build //LOCALHOST
• Chapter: If you are a chapter lead you can select your chapter, else leave it empty.
• Name: The name is auto-generated based on your city name: Build //localhost:<cityname>.
• Description: Enter a small description for the event. You can use markdown to format the description.

Step 3 - Registration

Choose one of the following registration options:

Global AI Registrations

Manage registrations on the Global AI website. You can manage the registrations on the event page and download the attendee list.

• Enable "One-Click" registration for your event.

Global AI Luma Calendar

We create an event on our Luma Calendar and add you as organizer. Registrations are managed through Luma and the event will be visible on our website calendar.

Important

External registration platforms (Eventbrite, Meetup, etc.) are not allowed for Build //localhost events. All registration must go through one of the options above.

Step 4 - When

• Enter the date (directly after Build 2026, between June 4–30, 2026)
• Enter the time, use the local time
• Set the timezone

Step 5 - Where

• Select the event type: In-Person (virtual events are not allowed for Build //localhost)
• Fill out the details.

Step 6 - Save

• Save the event
• After saving, the event is submitted for review and will be published within 24 hours.
