Welcome back to the Global AI Community! The December 2025 Chapter Leads meeting was short, sweet, and packed with exciting announcements for the year ahead.
Here's a quick summary of what we covered:
1. Refresher: Chapter Lead Benefits
First up, a quick reminder for all our new and existing chapter leads regarding the resources available to help you run successful events:
Azure Credits: Available for your workshops.
Streamyard Pro: Access included for hosting virtual events.
Meetup Pro: Available on a case-by-case basis for active communities.
2. The Big Announcement: Agent Camp 2026!
The biggest news of the month is the launch of our first major initiative for 2026. We are rebranding the classic "Global AI Bootcamp" to Agent Camp!
When: Running from February 1st to June 1st, 2026.
Format: Flexible! You can organize it In-Person, Virtual, or Hybrid.
Who Can Organize: Everyone! You do not need to be a chapter lead to host an event.
Organizer Benefits: You’ll receive a digital badge for your LinkedIn certification section, a feature on the official website, and a formal letter of recognition.
Attendee Benefits: Attendees who register via the Global AI platform get a digital certificate/badge and Azure subscriptions for workshops.
How to Register an Event:
Log in to your Global AI account, click "Add Event," and fill in the details. Approvals generally take less than 3 days.

3. New Show: "Made for Dev"
We have launched a new show called Made for Dev and are looking for speakers! If you have a great session idea, please submit it via Sessionize:

4. Community Teaser Video
We are creating a new teaser video for the global community and we want YOU in it!
Action: Record a 10-second video saying, "Hi everyone, my name is [Name] and I'm the chapter lead from [City]."
Check your email or Slack for the full script and upload instructions.
